Michelle the italiagal says:

Hello, Jennifer! I am transitioning to natural cleaning products and am a loyal Grove customer myself. I am in search of a good dish soap that cuts grease (particularly olive oil) well. I haven’t found a natural product that works as well as Palmolive Pure + Clear. I have tried Mrs. Meyers and Seventh Generation so far. They are good, but I find that I have to use more than the amount of Palmolive I need. I haven’t tried method dish soap yet. Do you like that on oils? Or something else? I do have a dishwasher and love Seventh Generation liquid for that, but there are many pieces that I do not put in the dishwasher on a weekly basis, so it’s still important to have a high quality dish soap, hopefully a non-toxic one. Thank you!

organized4 says:

LOVE unscented Percil. Target dropped the unscented one recently but Walmart has scented and unscented.

Marielle Forest says:

Hi Jennifer,
I have an EcoWasher hooked up to my laundry machine. This saves me money in the long run because I don’t need to use any laundry detergent. My clothes are cleaner than they ever were before when I used laundry detergent. It’s also much better for my health and for the environment. I highly recommend it.

Inspired by Nikki says:

Hello Jennifer! I love hearing your take on these products and the little things you add in as well! Your hair looks lovely styled that way and your baby bump is so cute! Let’s talk soon! ~Nikki

Tammy S says:

I use Kirkland’s free and clear laundry detergent (from Costco). I can’t handle scented products, otherwise I’d try this! I like that the Kirkland detergent gets my clothes clean. Some of the more natural detergents I’ve tried don’t clean laundry very well.

Ally Billingsley says:

Hi Jennifer, have you ever used The Laundress? I love it but it’s so expensive, I’m wondering how it compares to these more affordable natural detergents. Maybe you could review it? Also, I love how you fold your towels, I have been folding mine that way ever since I read At Home with Madame Chic and my husband even commented on how he likes how I fold towels 🙂

Faith and Flour says:

These are my favorites too! I am also trying a DIY laundry detergent. There are tons of recipes for it on YT. It works very well and is very economical. However, I think I will always come back to Method – that ginger mango scent is so good! Thanks Jennifer!

Tina Grady says:

I want to try method tried Mrs. Meyers love it!

Laura Joseph says:

Hi Jennifer, I’m wondering if you could possibly write a blog series where you rank the different soaps and products you have reviewed. I appreciate you showcasing the products you are trying, but I’m curious to see how they compare in your mind. Are some soaps more efficient? Do you find that some soaps require you to use much more? Is there a best value for the different kinds of soaps? Which do you find smell the best? Thank you!

Krista Harris says:

Thanks for this review, I usually like unscented products, but this one sound very tempting. Question: I have always heard that you shouldn’t use fabric softener on towels, that it reduces the absorbency, do you use the fabric softener every time you wash or just occasionally?

Connie Seward says:

What type of washer/dryer do you have a d would you buy it again?

Pam Long says:

My first thoughts were ginger and mango…sounds like a great drink! As I move to switch to all natural cleaning products, I will definitely be trying the Method laundry detergent. As a side note I’ve been using the Schmidt’s deodorant (Rose + Vanilla) which you recommended and am very pleased! Thank you!

Lara G says:

You are glowing with your pregnancy. Unfortunately I am sensitive to scents and can’t tolerate perfumes, etc. Nonetheless I am enjoying your reviews of the many products. I’ve noticed your washing machine has a clear (glass ?) lid – as does ‘Inspired by Nikki’. Is this common in USA ? I’ve never seen one in Australia.

Live4Today says:

We started using Charlie’s Soap powder detergent when we had our first child. I still enjoy using it even though our children are no longer babies. I do enjoy scents, however, so I’m inclined to try the Method or Mrs. Myers scent boosters.

Leah Cybulski says:

I’d love to see a review of Nellie’s Laundry Soap and Whitener! I’m a Tide girl and love it!

Jaime Zuniga says:

I wish I would have signed up for Grove’s VIP program after my free trial! I love Grove.

Natalie Smith says:

I recently ordered a Mrs. Meyers cleaning package that included a Baking Soda Cream Cleanser, Vinegar Gel No-Rinse Cleaner and a window Cleaner. Love the baking soda cleanser! It’s actually why I bought the package. Have you tried it?

Brittany Grillo says:

If you’re taking requests, I’d love to see you try a DIY laundry detergent. The recipe I used had Borax, washing soda, and a grated bar of soap. I remember that I loved how economical it was, but my clothes didn’t smell very good afterward. I’m wondering if there’s a better recipe out there because I would love to save money and plastic containers.

M Goss says:

Thank you for reviewing these natural products for us. I subscribed to Grove Collaborative just recently, thanks to you! Can’t wait to try this detergent. Bu the way you look very glamorous in this video. May I ask which lip gloss/lip stick you are wearing? Its so pretty on you!

Vicki Zimmerman says:

What a beautifully-updated blog for The Daily Connoisseur, Jennifer. I love it. As for your review today, it’s so funny as I have a note on my to-do list to place a Grove Collaborative order, because it’s been a while. I had planned to buy Mrs. Meyer’s Honeysuckle laundry detergent after your stellar review, and thank you for touch on its performance here as being about equal to the Method Ginger + Mango Laundry detergent. Now, I’m torn between both! Yikes. Oh, well, I’ll just pick one and know that either one will be fine. Your laundry room, with the pretty flower arrangement, looks so pretty and peaceful, like your newly-designed blog. So happy you share these wonderful discoveries to make life a good one.

Lois says:

I second the Nellie’s soda and oxygen whitener and Laundress. I know you’ve talked about Laundress some time ago, that’s why I tried them and love both the delicate wash and the wool & cashmere. Maybe a full on review?

Smaira 27 says:

Thank you for the review Jennifer and your inspirational videos. I am out of detergent and don’t like strong smelling ones. The Method one you reviewed sounds great, I will get some today! I have noticed that natural products done have such a strong scent which makes you think about why the others smell so bad!

DeAnna B says:

I also use Method and it works really well. It’s amazing how little you need to use! Thank you.

For the Love of Organizing says:

So excited to see Method makes a fabric softener. Love your videos always! ❤️

Claudia Cruz says:

I use Melaleuca’s Detergent & Fabric Softener…they are also advertised as being on the more natural side. 🙂 Speaking of laundry… Do you keep a capsule wardrobe for your children? How do you shop clothes for them? Can you do a video about it? Perhaps that was something you included on your new book… 😉

Laura Chiaramida says:

LOVE Method laundry soap/fabric softener!!! I have not tried this scent yet. I use the “Beach Sage” and it is so fresh and clean smelling-I’m addicted.
I agree it works just as well as Tide etc and the scent really does linger.
Thank you for the review!

Theresa Myers says:

Well I had to do 2 cap full of detergent to 1 cap of softener I tried it with 1 cap and felt my Jean’s never came out clean when I did that I seen the change I really like the softener though

the Daily Connoisseur says:

I hope you enjoy today’s review. Have you tried Method’s laundry detergent? Do you have a laundry detergent you’d like me to review on Natural Home with Jennifer? Please let me know. Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you on Monday!
